The Performing Arts Workshops' student leadership group, the Youth Advisory Committee (YAC), will be hosting a youth arts show and watch party for the first NBA Finals game on June 6 from 5-8:00 p.m. for youth and families in San Francisco's District 11 neighborhood!

Come out to the 2nd Annual San Francisco Juneteenth Parade Market Street on Saturday, June 8, 2024 on 11 am. The Juneteenth San Francisco Parade & Celebration will recognize the importance of the outstanding, engaged non-profits, businesses, organizations, volunteers, and individuals that fuel the community spirit.

Next year, there will be new high school interim assessments for reading and math. Star Reading and Star Math will be administered in lieu of Reading Inventory (RI) and Math Milestone Tasks (MMT's).

The Procurement Department currently has limited Purchasers. There is a two-week, or ten business-day, delay in processing purchase orders. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
In the meantime, we are in the process of replacing those positions.

In an effort to establish a deeper understanding of the contract process, Procurement will provide training opportunities as indicated below. The Superintendent is expecting at least one member from your school or department to attend one training (because all training within the current month is the same). The person who drafts the contract needs to be in attendance. Please share this PD opportunity with your relevant staff.
