February 5th-9th is National School Counseling Week (NSCW)! Please take some time during that week to recognize and celebrate the school counselors at your site.
SFUSD is seeking a team of math leaders including PK-8 teachers, resource teachers, site leaders, interventionists and/or coaches and parents. The team will support the review and selection of PK-5 & Middle Math materials for Core/Tier 1 instruction. The team will review 3 different options and go deeper into each resource to determine which will be field tested during a pilot for 24-25.
Monthly automated Truancy letters will be posted to Synergy this Friday [2/9]. Families and schools can ensure that attendance data is correct and complete by following this guidance.
The Procurement Department currently has no Purchasers. There is a two-week, or ten business-day, delay in processing purchase orders. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

The Department of Elections has sent notices directly to school sites to let each school site know that their site has been identified as a polling site for the March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election. Site principals were given an opportunity to review the spreadsheet and provide feedback on the requested voting area.
To ensure that our custodial department has sufficient time to complete a thorough cleaning of our school sites, SFUSD will be enforcing a blackout period between July 20th and August 18th.
