A group of Black educators from San Francisco shared the vision of prioritizing education for all children, especially Black children, and created a coalition for Black educators to exchange ideas and techniques in June 1977. June 2023 marks 46 years that this organization has hosted these educational programs for African American/Black students, educators, and families in the San Francisco Unified School District. I invite you to join SFABSE efforts by volunteering and becoming a member.
