The SFUSD Arts Department proudly presents the 2021-2022 Arts Ambassadors as part of honoring individuals and organizations who have inspired our educational community through the excellent work they have done to promote the vision and the promise of the Arts Department and school district.

The SF Opera DEC Department is hosting our inaugural Arts Integration and Healing weeklong workshop. K-12 Educators (Including Arts Specialists) are invited to sign up.  Each participant will receive a week of professional development and a $500 stipend to thank you for your time.

Join the Children's Defense Fund Freedom School's free literacy program this summer, Mondays to Fridays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 13 to July 22!

The Summer Reading Club at the San Francisco Botanical Garden is back! The Summer Reading Club is a free reading and activity program for children ages 0-12 from June 5 to July 31.

Please join us for our upcoming student showcase, Friday May 27 from 4:30- 6:30pm. The event will feature performances from our students and teaching artists as well as free, delicious food and great prizes for students and caregivers.

Participate in Where Art Lives' 2022 Community Art Challenge! San Francisco youth who share their art by May 20 will have a chance to win $50 gift cards.

Booker T Washington Community Service Center's afterschool program is for children in Grades K-8. The program provides a curriculum based approach to academic support with a STEM and STEAM focus, mentors, literacy development; social-emotional development, positive play, character education, music, fitness and nutrition.

Summer at HSArts (Jun. 13 to Aug. 12) is for all campers K-12. We offer visual arts, dance, music, theatre for our Summer Young Artists, and exclusive masterclasses with award-winning artist instructors in our Summer Arts Academy.

HYPE Center encourages all to spend a day learning self defense on May 11 from 3 to 5 p.m.
