NGSS Chemistry

The SFUSD Curriculum and Instruction department is proud to offer our NGSS chemistry curriculum to the public. It is available under a creative commons license and aligns with the next generation science standards.

Science Core Curriculum

SFUSD Science Core Curriculum is NGSS-aligned and uses a 5E learning model for grades 6-12. Curriculum is project-based (PBL) in Middle school and high school physics. Elementary school uses Amplify science from the Lawrence Hall of Science. "C&I Science", "Curriculum and Instruction"
