State audit recognizes SFUSD’s approach to preparing students for college

The California State Auditor recently submitted a report to the Governor and legislators titled “College Readiness of California’s High School Students: The State Can Better Prepare Students for College by Adopting New Strategies and Increasing Oversight.” In the report San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) is cited as an exemplar district that has provided students access to college preparatory coursework and set high expectations for graduates, while ensuring supports and interventions to keep students on track. ... On Thursday, June 24th, 2021 from 8:00am to 4:00pm, contracted vendors will be performing annual maintenance to our backup battery systems in the data center at 555 Franklin. These batteries provide our data center with redundant power to keep our network systems and servers functioning in the event of a PG&E power outage.
