Register now for next week's Para Institute (Aug. 10-11)! Attend paid (Zoom) workshops of your choosing to support your learning needs as a paraeducator in SFUSD. You do not need to attend all day or both days - you can pick and choose what to attend! Just track your hours of attendance for pay.

The Physical Education Central Office is having its districtwide K-12 professional development on August 14 at Balboa High School.

This professional learning is intended to be an active experience providing hands-on practice with the ERWC curriculum designed for English language arts (ELA) and English language development (ELD) teachers teaching grades 9-12. The workshop series provides an introduction to the CSU Expository Reading & Writing Curriculum (ERWC).

Bayview Opera House and Robert Moses' Kin Dance Company is offering Bootstraps: Lyric Legacies, an intergenerational summer multidisciplinary arts workshop series. The workshop will be held Jul. 5 to Aug. 4 and is open to ages 10 to 70+.

Following the successful debut of Fiesta del Mariachi (FDM), the School of Arts and Culture at MHP (SOAC) is hosting its second annual celebration of regional Mexican music on July 28 and 29 at the Mexican Heritage Plaza (La Plaza). The festivities begin with an immersive day-and-a-half youth workshop led by Mariachi Tapatio’s Musical Director, Manuel Caratachea, and a public Saturday concert.

UASF administrators can apply for a micro-grant to get paid to learn with your colleagues! Apply by Friday, Sept. 1, 2023 for up to $5000 to engage in learning with other site leaders or department leaders.

We are seeking workshop presenters! We welcome all SFUSD staff (paras, teachers, TSAs, certificated and classified staff, admin, etc.) to sign up to lead a workshop to support the learning needs of SFUSD's incredible paraeducators. We offer stipends to non-admin able to present.
