Vision and Hearing Screenings will be conducted for all students in grades K-5 in Spring 2026.

SFUSD will continue to operate seven-period schedules at middle and K-8 schools. The district is also actively working with school leaders on ways to increase their instructional minutes to a minimum of 220 minutes per week for each course, and strengthen learning opportunities for students.
