Down Payment Assistance Programs
The Educators Downpayment Assistance Loan Program (EDALP) offers up to $375,000 in down payment assistance toward the purchase of your first market rate home in San Francisco. Pre-approved buyers are selected via a lottery.
The Teacher Next Door Program (TND) provides a forgivable loan of up to $40,000 to cover down payment or closing costs.
The Mayor's office releases funding for both programs on the same date (unknown at this time). Applicants only have 45 days to apply. Get pre-approved now so you are ready to apply.
See EDALP and TND fliers to learn more about these programs for our educators.
