Join City and County of San Francisco Assessor-Recorder Joaquin Torres this Saturday for a day of presentations, a community resource fair and 1-on-1 consultations on property assessments and personal budgeting, all focused on building financial empowerment for the whole family.
On June 2, 2025, Dragon Gate Academy submitted a charter petition to open a K-8 Mandarin Immersion school to be opened in fall 2026. The initial hearing was held on July 29, 2025 and staff have released their analysis and recommendations for the petition.
SFUSD will be hosting the 2025 PSAT/NMSQT at Lowell High School for only SFUSD students on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025 or Monday, Oct. 13, 2025 starting at 8:30 am, ending by 12 noon on either date. Students will choose their PSAT exam date from those two options when registering.
SFUSD will be hosting a SAT School Day at Lowell High School for only SFUSD students on Monday, October 13, 2025, starting at 8:30 am, ending by 12 noon. Monday, October 13 is a SFUSD school holiday, Indigenous Peoples' Day. There are no makeup dates for this testing opportunity.
