The California Department of Education (CDE) has released the results of the 2018 California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) for English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics. Last spring, more than 28,000 SFUSD students in grades 3 to 8 and 11 took these state assessments.

Dreamforce, one of the world’s largest software and technology conferences of the year, welcomed over 170,000+ innovators including students from Lawton Alternative School last week.

As part of SFUSD’s commitment to Cyber Security Month and National Bullying Prevention Month, 4th grade students at Sunnyside Elementary School are learning - and teaching - a lesson about the importance of digital citizenship and online safety through student-created presentations that address identity protection and cyber bullying.
