Welcome to the new calendar year in EMPowerSF! We are writing to clarify our time entry guidance for the observance of Lunar New Year on Jan. 23. 

SFUSD is determining how many seats will be available at each school for the 2023-24 school year.

All SFUSD schools will be closed on Monday, Jan. 23 in observance of the Lunar New Year Holiday. SFUSD offices will be open.

Paraeducators can attend Learning Labs monthly on Wednesdays to get help on EMPowerSF or Google Docs and Slides!

The History-Social Studies + Ethnic Studies Department is coordinating with San Francisco State University (SFSU)'s Comic Studies program to offer a two part PD to all social studies teachers and teacher librarians.

SFUSD is working to upgrade its core network with scheduled maintenance on Thursday, Jan. 26 from 6:00-6:30 a.m. While it is unlikely we will experience an outage during this period, there may be one lasting fewer than 5 minutes.
