Beginning in 2025–2026, students in kindergarten, grade one, and grade two must be screened for reading difficulties per Education Code Section 53008. All K-2 Educators and school leaders are required to attend training in administering, interpreting, utilizing, and communicating screening results to families. All K-2 Teachers will learn more about the NEW Reading Difficulties Screener (RDS) on August 14.

For those receiving direct deposits, the pay stub for monthly certificated employees was available on Wednesday, July 30. A notification with a link to access the pay stub was sent to employees on July 30.
