Gr 1&2 Amira Reading Difficulties Screener (RDS) Updates, Information, & Administration

Starting in the 2025–26 school year, California Education Code Section 53008 requires that all students in grades K–2 are screened each year for risk of reading difficulties. In SFUSD, Grade 1 & 2 students will be screened for reading difficulties using Amira October 1-24. Read to find resources to prepare students and staff for administration.
