Mission and Vision

Our mission is to support all students in recognizing their potential by providing a comprehensive school counseling program which includes academic, career/postsecondary and social emotional services. With an anti-racist lens, we strive to deliver equitable, personalized interventions based on students’ individual strengths and needs. In collaboration with community stakeholders, we help to create a safe, respectful, and responsible school climate, in which diversity and inclusion are paramount. 

The vision of Mission High School Counseling Department is that all students graduate as self-sufficient, self-advocating, productive members of our 21st century society, who are engaged in their communities, and are critical and analytical thinkers who value diversity.
