Welcome to the Mission High School World Languages Department.
Our bilingual team offers courses in Spanish and Arabic.
The Spanish and Arabic courses provide rigorous engagement in both linguistic skills and cultural knowledge to guide students to become global citizens.
Our program emphasizes the communicative skills of the language: listening, reading, writing, speaking, and translating.
We believe that exposure to a second language challenges the students to reflect on themselves in relation to our global society, broadens their social skills and helps them to develop a better understanding of the world they live in.
