The modernization of Sheridan Elementary School was completed in 2021. The upgrade included a cafeteria refresh, a serving kitchen renovation, and bathroom improvements. Roofs in the buildings were updated to prevent leaks. HVAC, power, data, and security systems were upgraded to improve the safety and learning environment for students. On the exterior of the building, there was the addition of a green schoolyard and the playground was regraded.

- Programmatic improvements including new pre-k restrooms and replanned administrative offices
- HVAC and controls upgrades
- Power, data, and security system upgrades
- Replacement of interior and exterior lighting

- Classroom casework replacement at multi-purpose building
