Announcement Message

Dear SFUSD Community,

All SFUSD schools will be closed to students on Thursday, Feb. 12.

SFUSD is still at the table tonight to reach an agreement with United Educators of San Francisco (UESF). We are working urgently so that we can reopen schools safely. We will continue to update our website regularly with up-to-date information and student and family resources.

Families of Special Education Students with Acute Medical Needs

Any family who needs access to medication at their child’s school should contact our Student Family School Resource Link. We are working together with our city partners and with community based organizations to address any urgent needs, to ensure the safety and well-being of our students while schools are closed.

All SFUSD Offices Closed to Staff and Public on Thursday, Feb. 12

While schools are closed, SFUSD offices (including 555 Franklin Street and 135 Van Ness Avenue) will be closed to both staff and the public. Any appointments with Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, Accounting, etc, will be rescheduled for when the buildings reopen.

Enrollment Center Closed to In Person Visits on Thursday, Feb. 12

The Enrollment Center is closed to in-person visits while schools are closed, but they are available by phone (415-241-6085) and email (enrollinschool@sfusd.edu), Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. The Enrollment Center office and phone are closed for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. daily.
