About PEP

Pin@y Educational Partnerships at the Longfellow Elementary site strives to educate students to be more critically conscious about their identities, communities, and the world.  Through the teaching of Filipina/o American Studies, incorporating his/herstory, understanding identity and culture, we hope to introduce a gateway for students to begin and continue to critically love and engage in the world around them. By fostering a unique and creative learning space, students will ultimately be able to see themselves as agents of social change who are able to advocate hope, love and support to others.
