Welcome to Wellness! Lowell's Health Hot-Spot.

Whether you are here for tea or for a snack to get you through the day or you just need a break from everyday life, Wellness is a safe space for you. If you have any questions about our services, come by to Room 118.

The Wellness Center is not just for your physical or mental health needs, we can also be a bridge for any financial, food, or family resources that is within the community you live in.

Services at Wellness

Physical Health

  • The Nurse is located at the Wellness Center (Room 118).
  • The Nurse offers a holistic approach to caring for students
  • First-Aid and Ice Packs are available.

 

  • The nurse is not allowed to prescribe medication without a guardian's/parent's approval or diagnose any illnesses.

Drop-In/Ongoing Therapy

DROP IN

  • Drop-In Services are a one time service if students need to vent, process or destress about anything bothering them. (This is prevalent for students who are in immediate need.)

 

  • Students do need a Wellness pass from their teacher. 

 

  • Drop-In 'Times' vary depending on our clinicians' availability.

 

ONGOING THERAPY

  • Our mental health clinicians support continuous and confidential therapy throughout the school year that fits students' needs.
    • You do not need a mental health disorder to qualify for therapy.
  • Some of the ways our clinicians support students is through group therapy, individual or support groups.

 

Sexual Health/Sensitive Services

Along with the Wellness Center having pads, period underwear, and condoms readily available for students, the Lowell Wellness Center can help students make a confidential clinic appointment at any Teen Clinics within the city.
