2022: of the 83% Mission High students who applied to the University of California for the 2021-22 school year, we had an acceptance rate of 90% - higher than any other school in SFUSD.

Mission High School has a diverse student body with the majority eligible for free or reduced lunch. Currently, 56% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch.

College Preparatory Curriculum:

Mission High School offers students a comprehensive college preparatory program which meets UC, CSU and SFUSD graduation requirements. 11th and 12th grade Mission students can take a maximum of 3 AP or Honors classes per school year, and are recommended for these courses by their teachers. Counselors and staff review these course lists to ensure that the demographics of each class reflects the demographics of our student body. 2021-2022 AP/Honors Course List:

COVID-19 Impact:

SFUSD converted to district-wide Credit/No Credit grading for Spring 2020, as well as a Distance Learning system due to the COVID-19 pandemic. GPAs were not impacted by this temporary grading policy change.
