Students Address Food Sustainability @ SF Farmers Markets
ABC7 highlights SFUSD students learning about food sustainability through a partnership between SFUSD and Center for Urban Education and Sustainable Agriculture (CUESA). The student were compensated for their work through stipends that were funded by the SF Soda Tax.
"Raising Health" The Bigger Picture Slam Club
"Raising Health" is the culminating event for Youth Speaks’ Fall 2020 Bigger Picture Slam Club, featuring young poets from the San Francisco Unified School District as well as guest presenters and community members, Ryane Daniels, Darius Simpson and Aniya Butler. About The Bigger Picture: The Bigger Picture is a collaborative project between Youth Speaks and UCSF’s Center for Vulnerable Populations that encourages young writers to use their voices to combat public health crises that threaten their communities.

Water Bottle Distribution at Willie Brown MS
Water Task Force Ambassadors kicked off their club by handing out over 180 water bottles to all their peers during lunch time!
Students were able to fill their water bottles with specially made Spa Water; mango, pink lemon, and pineapple.
