The San Francisco Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the contract for Dr. Matt Wayne to serve as the new Superintendent of the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD).

The San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) and United Educators of San Francisco (UESF) are pleased to announce that through a joint effort to apply for California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP)’s Implementation Grants, SFUSD has been awarded over $33.7 million in grants from the California Department of Education (CDE) to fund partnerships at schools to align community resources in support of improving student outcomes.
