“A” Requirement

3 years: 30 credits

World History, United States History, American Democracy & Economics

2 years: U.S. History, World History, American Democracy 

English

“B” Requirement

4 years: 40 credits

4 years: College Preparatory English, maximum one year of Advanced ELD can be used towards fulfilling this requirement

Mathematics

“C” Requirement

3 years: 30 credits 

Including Algebra,  Geometry, and Algebra 2

3 years: 4 years recommended 

including Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2 

Science

“D” Requirement

2 years: 20 credits 

1 Year in Biological Sciences; 1 Year in Physical Sciences

2 years: 3 years recommended

“E” Requirement

2 years: 20 credits of the same language other than English

2 years: 3 years recommended

Visual and Performing Arts

“F” Requirement

1 year: 10 credits

1 year: 1 yearlong course or 2 semester courses from the same discipline required
