To engage educators in professional development and provide services that empower & serve the educational needs of culturally and linguistically diverse student populations. In order to accomplish this purpose we will:

- Advocate for the development and maintenance of clearly defined language pathways & world language programs that will raise student achievement across content areas

Information about the English Language Test (ELPAC)
The ELPAC test is used to measure how well students understand English when it is not their primary language. Information from the ELPAC helps your child’s teacher provide support in the right areas. Students take the test kindergarten through 12th grade.

Basis for English Learner Programs
Brief summaries of the most pertinent Federal laws, court rulings, and State laws which affect the education of English Learners (ELs), as well as explanations of how these laws are enforced and the responsibilities of school districts serving ELs.
Summer Academy for Integrated Language Learning (SAILL)
(SAILL) is a five-week summer program dedicated to providing newcomer multilingual students an opportunity to earn additional high school credits, continue developing their English language skills, and access socio-emotional supports during the summer.
