The Youth Art Exchange offers youth and community arts programming in San Francisco, including free high school after school classes. Register now for the spring session and attend an orientation on Feb. 5.

Free Summer Youth Leadership Program for Middle School Students; Earn a Stipend of $300 Upon Completion of Program.

This summer, the San Francisco Math Circle is offering weeklong day camps (9 a.m.-3 p.m., with optional morning and afternoon extended care) at San Francisco State University for rising 3rd-6th grade students.

With the recent change in the federal administration, I want to take this opportunity to reiterate SFUSD’s commitment to protecting the rights of our students, families, and staff. We have been coordinating closely with the City and County of San Francisco and California Department of Education to ensure we have resources and plans in place for supporting vulnerable communities.

Synergy will be offline on Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 6 p.m. to Thursday, Jan. 23 at 2 a.m. for regularly scheduled monthly maintenance.

Synergy will be offline on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025 from 7 a.m. to noon for a version update. Staff, parents and students will not be able to access Synergy, ParentVUE and StudentVUE respectively during this maintenance window.     

To ensure that our custodial department has sufficient time to complete a thorough cleaning of our school sites before the first day of school for the 2025-26 school year on Aug. 18, SFUSD will be enforcing a blackout period between July 21 and Aug. 17. During this blackout period, school sites will not be available for use or rental except by certain summer programs.

Save the date for the 10th Anniversary of Mariachi in SFUSD. The event is March 21, 2025 at 6 p.m. at Mission High School. Tickets will be available in January 2025.

The Clinical Academy is a 2-week immersive program tailored to high school students interested in healthcare careers.
