The Board of Education’s ad-hoc committee on public engagement shared a draft community engagement plan based on prior feedback and is now seeking additional input via a survey through April 24 before refining it for its next meeting.

This summer, our youth program offers an engaging and inclusive experience designed especially for Native youth ages 8–17, while welcoming all young people who are eager to learn and connect.

Join us as we host our Youth Basketball Clinic this June! The curriculum is geared towards young, beginner-level players to give them a proper introduction to basketball.

SFUSD Indian Education will host a Beadwork Series for Indigenous students and their families out of our center at Sanchez Elementary on Wednesdays, April 15 and April 22. Workshops will be followed with PAC meetings 6-7pm on both Wednesdays.

The Multilingual Pathways Department will award the Biliteracy Program Participation Recognition to all 5th and 8th graders in language programs leading to bilingualism and biliteracy, as encouraged by the California Department of Education.

Join us for a free family festival this Saturday, April 11 with inclusive activities and food. Families of children with disabilities and complex medical needs are especially welcome!

On Thursday, April 16, the Enrollment Center at 555 Franklin Street will be closed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for staff professional development training. The office will reopen at 1 p.m. that day.
