Issue when sharing an iPhone/iOS deviceIf users are sharing an iOS device such as an iPhone, if the first user signs out and another user signs in within twenty minutes, student grades and documents may show information from the first user. This issue does not impact users logging in using an Android or through a website. |
The vendor is aware of the issue and is releasing a new version of ParentVUE and StudentVUE (version 10.1) in the app store |

Resolved: Android users not able to loginWe have received reports from families stating that they are unable to login through the ParentVUE mobile app when using an Android phone. |
12/30/21: Parents/guardians using an Android device should now be able to log into the ParentVUE mobile app. Thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve the issue. |

Resolved: Online Apps Issue with Creating NEW ParentVUE accountsWe have received reports from families that when a parent/guardian who is new to the district tries to create a NEW ParentVUE account through the Online Application, they run into a “Mailbox Unavailable” error and do not receive an email to finish creating their account. |
This has been fixed and families new to the district should now be able to create accounts through the Online Application. Thank you for your patience. |

Resolved: Some Families and Students unable to log in to ParentVUE and StudentVUEWhen logging in to ParentVUE and StudentVUE both through the mobile app and through a web browser at portal.sfusd.edu, some families and students run into a timeout error. This is also happening when users are already logged in and are logged out. We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing during the second day of school and are investigating this issue immediately. We will post an update as soon as we have more information. Thank you for your patience. |
Users are able to login to ParentVUE and StudentVUE, however our team is continuing to monitor the issue to ensure families and students do not run into connection issues. |

ParentVUE Announcements do not show up when logged inWhen logged in to ParentVUE using a web browser, parents/guardians see "District Announcements" pop up, but when they click "Read More" the announcement does not show up. Families may view ParentVUE announcements on a web browser on the homepage of ParentVUE before logging in: portal.sfusd.edu. When logged in using an iPhone, the pop up does not show up. Families can view the announcements by clicking on the Calendar tab. We apologize for the inconvenience and we will post an update as soon as this is fixed. |
We have reported this to our vendor on 06/15/2021. In the meantime, families may view ParentVUE announcements on a web browser on the homepage of ParentVUE before logging in: portal.sfusd.edu. |
