Synergy Maintenance: Monday, December 28 from 6 PM to 1:30AM on Tuesday, December 29We will be performing updates to our system on Sunday, February 21 from 5 AM to 12:30 PM. ParentVUE Web Browser Issue: Attendance SymbolsWhen logged into ParentVUE using a web browser (Google Chrome, Safari, etc.), tardy appears as an unexcused absence marked with a red X icon. Attendance icons appear correctly in the mobile app. We apologize for the confusion. |
Our vendor has released a fix and we will upgrade Synergy this February to correct the issue. |

Online Application (OLA) Issue: Family Addresses with Apartment NumbersFamily addresses with apartment numbers prefixed by a pound "#" sign do not show completely in the Online Application. When a parent/guardian starts any of the OLA forms (Device, Emergency Card, and Application for SFUSD), they only see their street address and not the apartment number. DoT is tracking all address changes done through OLA and are ensuring Apartment numbers are not lost in the system. |
DoT has updated all "#" signs in the system to ensure Apartment numbers are shown in OLA. We are also following up with the vendor on a resolution to ensure this does not reoccur. |

Teacher Emails to Students and FamiliesThere is an issue impacting emails sent from TeacherVUE to students and families. When teachers send an email to a Class, students and families will ONLY receive the message in their email inbox. The message will NOT display in the Messages tab of StudentVUE and ParentVUE. In the meantime, please check your email inboxes regularly for teacher messages. We apologize for the inconvenience. |

Elementary Report Cards and K-Hs Fall District Assessment Reports are now available in the Documents tab of ParentVUE however in the mobile app, clicking Documents opens the specific student document but does not allow the parent/guardian to navigate back to the main menu. If you experience this, please delete the app and download it again. |
Resolved in the latest version of the ParentVUE mobile app: Version 9.0 which was released in January 2021. Please download or upgrade to the latest version. |

We enabled attendance notifications for families on 11/3/2020 to allow families to opt in to receiving emails when their student is absent. However notifications went out to students who were present, with the attendance code “positive” for distance learning. If you received a message about your student and they were present, please disregard the message. We apologize for this confusion. We have disabled all attendance notifications and will be posting an update once this is enabled again. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us through the Family Resource Link line. |

Parents/guardians are not able to access information on the Gradebook tab. Clicking the tab results in an error message on the mobile app. |

Parents/guardians are currently unable to edit/add their phone number in ParentVUE when using a web browser at portal.sfusd.edu. |
