About

Interested in starting your own business or have the entrepreneurial spirit? Business Academy will help you build your skills in design thinking, prototyping, marketing, and startup financing. This 3 year Career Technical Education Pathway is designed to give students hands-on experience on creating and running a business.

  • Introduction to Entrepreneurship is our beginner course on Business where you will build job readiness skills, meet with local business owners, and learn the basics of Business.

  • Entrepreneurship 1 & 2 are hands-on courses where you don’t just learn about business—you build one. You’ll develop products, test and refine your ideas, sell and market to real customers, and pitch your business to investors with confidence. 

Along the way, you’ll connect with mentors, industry leaders, and local business owners who’ve been there and done it. Whether you’re dreaming up your first startup or sharpening your creative hustle, Business Academy electives give you the tools, experience, and network to make it happen. Courses are UC A-G transferrable, earns you College & Career credit, and looks great on resumes & transcripts.
