Entrepreneurship 1 is our hands-on business class where Juniors will learn how to create businesses from just an idea. In partnership with Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Juniors build their entrepreneurial mindset, identify problems, and turn solutions into viable business opportunities. Through innovation and design thinking, Juniors explore complex global issues and the UN Sustainable Development Goals to design impactful solutions. Juniors participate and compete in the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge and World Series of Innovation Competition. In addition, Juniors participate in our Wholesale to Retail project, where students manage a business loan and budget, create a business, produce handmade products and goods, and sell products at their Pop Up shops. This hand-on project gives Juniors the real opportunity to build a profitable business.
