Hello!

This has been a stressful week. Students and teachers are finishing up the grading period. The uncertainty about the election results is stressful regardless of your politics. And, we’re still dealing with the realities of living through a pandemic and all the stress that creates. We’ve noticed a slight drop off in student attendance over the past few weeks. Please check in with your student and reach out to us if you need additional support. We are here to help.

Next week is Veteran’s Day. There is no school on Wednesday. The schedule for the week is here: November 9-13 schedule

An update on Sports: there are no official start dates for any sports. The league is working with the school district and the Department of Public Health to determine when teams can begin practicing. There are two main issues: the original guidance stated that no sports could begin until in-person school resumes, and that students participating in sports would be in stable cohorts of 14 with two adults. This makes most athletic competitions impossible. The League is working to come up with a plan. I will share any information I receive as this develops.

We are beginning wellness checks this week. A member of the staff will reach out to you within the next few weeks. If you have immediate needs, please reach out.

I hope everyone has a restful and stress-free weekend.
