Access SFUSD is a community based program for students who are 18-22 years old with disabilities. We focus on teaching functional life skills within the community setting. The community IS our classroom. We strive to help students discover their passions, unlock potential, and become involved members of the community. We offer an individualized program that works with each student's goals and interests to further develop their skills, be it in community college or vocational experiences.
Some areas we focus on are:
- vocational skills
- self-help skills
- health and safety skills
- social and communication skills
- creative expression
- transportation skills
- volunteering and increasing independence.
