Bulldogs BARK; We are Brave, Accountable, Respectful, and Kind.

Happy Friday Bulldog families! I hope you’re all feeling a little better this week than last, the clearer air has definitely helped at my house.

The administration team has been visiting classrooms this week and we have been really happy to see and hear your kids participating in really meaningful ways. Whether it’s sharing their thinking in a chat or on jamboard, or actually talking with their classmates, Wallenberg students and teachers are finding creative ways to make their voices heard.

Over 450 students and families came to pick up materials. We are in the process of checking with teachers to see who still needs materials- not every student will. Next week we will be reaching out with a plan for students who still need materials.

The grading period ends on Friday the 25th. Check in with your student that they are up-to-date in all of their classes.

Back to school night is coming up on Wednesday September 23rd from 6-7:30. Information and the schedule is available here: https://www.sfusd.edu/school/raoul-wallenberg-traditional-high-school/announcements/2020-09-18-back-school-night-sept-23rd The most important thing to note is that you will need to log on with your student’s school email account in order to access each zoom classroom.

Each year we are required to collect opt out forms from families if they wish to deny the release of their child’s information to military recruiters. If you do not submit this form by September 23rd, we are required by federal law to share student names, addresses, and telephone numbers. Please see the letter and survey attached here to complete this opt out process: https://forms.gle/zUzqGGAzRVHX8bdQ6

We are looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday.
