Bay Area All-Star Scholarship Team (link)

  • Deadline: February 7, 2021

  • BAASST is a unique scholarship opportunity that awards students with $5,000 toward college, a personalized Giants jersey, and an invitation to be honored on the field/court during a home game for each of the 6 participating teams.


Maisin Scholarship

Applications now open (apply). 

  • Deadline February 12, 2021.  

  • Are a San Francisco Unified School District senior with at least a cumulative unweighted GPA between 2.0 and 3.5

  • Have a demonstrated financial need

  • Will attend college or an accredited educational program in the fall of your high school graduation year

  • Are committed to your post-secondary education


HSF Scholarship: Scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000. (link)

  • Deadline: February 15, 2021

  • Eligibility: Must be of Hispanic heritage; U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA; Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students;  Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the U.S., for the 2021-2022 academic year; Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable)


SF Achievers Scholarship (link)

  • Deadline: February 21, 2021

  • Open to all 12th grade African-American male-identifying students. 


Georgia McHugh $5000 Scholarship (link

  • Deadline February 26, 2021

  • Girls or female identified people who are currently seniors in a San Francisco high school and who are planning to attend an accredited four-year California college or university.


The 10,000 Degrees: Meritus Scholarship:

awarded multi-year scholarship, college success advising, and career development support. *Please note that Meritus accepts scholars regardless of documentation or citizenship status*

- Earn a cumulative high school GPA of 2.7 – 3.7 (unweighted).

- Demonstrate financial need.

- Plan to attend a four-year accredited college.

- Demonstrate grit and ambition to achieve success throughout and after college.


The San Francisco Alliance of Black School Educators Scholarship

Invites African American high school SFUSD seniors who will graduate by June 2021 to participate in its scholarship program. A $1,000.00 scholarship will be awarded to seniors who are pursuing a college degree or a career goal, who have satisfactory scholastic achievement and who have a financial need.


Asian Commercial Professionals (ACP) 2021 Scholarship (link)

  • Deadline:  March 20, 2021


The Association of Chinese Teachers (TACT) Scholarship

For SFUSD Chinese American high school seniors who will graduate in June 2021. TACT will award over 12 scholarships of $2000 to students who will be pursuing higher education. To encourage students, we will be hosting a support session on 2/27 at 3:30pm, where TACT members will be available to walk students through the application itself. (Flyer)


Karen Ha Scholarship

The Korean American Community Foundation of SF is offering college scholarships for Korean American students. 

  • Applications are due on March 24, 2021 and more information available on KACF-SF website.


SWE Golden Gate Section 2021 Scholarship Program

For graduating female-identifying students from Bay Area high schools who plan to pursue degrees in engineering or computer science in community college or 4-year accredited university. The scholarships will range in value from a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $2,000.


KF&B Law Academic Scholarship

  • Deadline: May 1, 2021

The members of KF&B remember how hard it was to pay for education to become the amazing lawyers they are today. Therefore, as a way to pay it forward to others, they have created the $1,000 KF&B Law Academic Scholarship, which is in its third year, to help one student lessen their financial burden from school.

The scholarship is open to any high school senior, or any college student who isn't in their final year. The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to the winner’s school’s financial aid department. The scholarship is open to any major, they do not have to be law students.
