Attendance Awareness Month Poster Contest

All SFUSD students from Pre-K to 12th grade are invited to participate in our Attendance Awareness Month Poster Contest!
Attendance Awareness Month is celebrated in September to highlight the importance of regular attendance for learning and achievement. We encourage students to share their perspective on the importance of attendance. Use your creativity to show what makes your school a special, diverse and inclusive place for all!
The Art: Create a visual art piece to let us know what makes school a special place for you. Themes of the poster can include:
- Every student matters, every day
- Learning is better when we are all together
- My school community and me
All mediums welcome: drawing, painting, mixed media, digital, etc.
Eligibility: Must be an enrolled SFUSD student to submit an art piece. All ages welcome!
To enter: Posters can be submitted by individual students or by a classroom. Each poster MUST have student’s name, age, and school listed to be considered.
Submit artwork via Google form, or mail them to 555 Franklin Street, 3rd Floor Attention: ATTENDANCE AWARENESS MONTH ART POSTER CONTEST
Prizes: Grand prize winner will receive a new laptop. Other prizes include a Polaroid camera and a variety of art supplies! Winners will have their work posted on SFUSD website and media pages. SFUSD will have the right to use artwork in district communications.
Deadline: Submissions are due by September 30, 2023. Winners will be notified in October.
