7. School Transfer Records Requests

If your student is transferring schools, please contact their current school directly during the regular school year to request records. School sites maintain the complete cumulative files, which contain all of the student's educational records. 

• Contact your school: Your student's school contact information is available in your ParentVUE account. You can also find general school contact information from here. More specific school email addresses maybe listed in your ParentVUE.
• Students receiving Special Education services: Please visit Special Education Services for information on requesting records.
• Students enrolled in Charter or County Schools: SFUSD does not maintain records for students enrolled in Charter or County Schools. Please see the Charter Schools section of this page for more information.
