Dual Enrollment

SFUSD high school students can enroll in college classes at CCSF while still in high school and earn college credit at the same time.

Tuition, textbooks, and course materials are provided free of charge to SFUSD students. Our team helps with transcripts and provides support throughout the process.

What are the benefits of Dual Enrollment?

• Gain college experience and earn credits with support from teachers and counselors.

• Practice successful college behaviors and explore possible career areas.

• Satisfy high school elective requirements.  1 college unit = 3.3 HS credits

• Stand out on college applications!  Some courses may give you a bump in GPA.

• Save money!  Some courses are UC/CSU transferable for general education credits.

Steps to Dual Enrollment

Students are recommended to take a minimum of 120 high school credits to participate, except for the Advanced World Language program. Complete five steps to enroll in a Dual Enrollment class.

Step 1: APPLY

Apply online to CCSF as a High School Student. Click here for our Application Help Sheet.
Spring 2026 application is now open!

Step 2: CHOOSE

Choose at least 3-4 course(s) from our recommended Course Catalog. CCSF Spring courses are in high demand so registration is not guaranteed for any course.

Step 3: CONSENT FORM

You must be logged into your @s.sfusd.edu account to access.
Spring 2026 Consent Form is now available!

Step 4: REGISTRATION

Students will receive a message to their @s.sfusd.edu email when they have access to register. It will take at least two weeks for your consent form to process and give you access to register
Spring 2026 Registration opens on Nov 26 at 12:00 pm

Submit textbook request form for your course
