Hello! I hope everyone had a good week. P1 grades should be available on Parentvue now. You can find them in the “documents” tab. Remember that these grades do not go on student transcripts. Transcript grades are issued in December and June. This means that your student still has plenty of time to improve their grades. They should be checking in with their teachers regularly, and making sure that they are keeping up with everything.

The high school principals are working on a plan for school pictures. I am not sure what this will look like yet, but I will have more information for you soon.

We will have a family meeting on Monday October 19th from 6:00-7:00 pm. I will send the zoom link and more information next week.

Last call for School Site Council and English Learner Advisory Committee nominations. These two committees are where you can have your voice heard about the direction of the school. There is no expertise required. If you are interested in serving, please complete this survey: https://forms.gle/mY2sC9XcpATuHnW47 I will send the election ballot out early next week, so nominations should be in by Monday the 12th.

Please complete the Multipurpose Family Income Form (MFIF) for this year. It is located here: https://www.sfusd.edu/services/health-wellness/nutrition-school-meals/apply. This form does more than qualify your student for free or reduced-price lunch. At high school if your student qualifies it can reduce or eliminate fees for college applications, SATs, and AP tests. It also provides us with important data for school funding.

Please visit our webpage: https://www.sfusd.edu/school/raoul-wallenberg-traditional-high-school for information about upcoming events and general school information.

There is no school on Monday in observance of Indigenous People’s Day. Tuesday-Friday next week will follow the regular schedule.
