What happens at the Enrollment Fair
The Enrollment Fair is the one event of the year where all SFUSD schools come together to represent their communities, and to meet prospective families.
Families at the Fair can:
- Speak with representatives — including the Principal, teachers, other staff, and parent volunteers — from schools of their choice, and get answers to questions they have.
- Get information directly from the Enrollment Center (by attending a workshop, or speaking with staff one-on-one) about how to apply, and what to expect throughout the enrollment process.
- Meet with parent leaders from Parent Advisory Committees, and with representatives from SFUSD Departments like Special Education, Multilingual Pathways, and Student & Family Services Division.
- Connect with city agencies and community organizations that provide services for families like yours.
Additional perks:
- Free books from the San Francisco Public Library
- SFUSD stickers and pens
The SY 2027-28 Enrollment Fair will be in October 2026. Join us and thousands of other SF families to start the next step of your student's educational journey!
PreK Enrollment
The PreKindergarten (PreK) Program serves children ages 2 years and 9 months to 5 years old. We offer both full-time and school-day options, and both subsidized and tuition-based enrollment slots. Our PreK program can be found throughout San Francisco either in Early Education Schools, which solely specialize in offering PreK and TK, or in Elementary Schools that offer PreK up to 8th grade.
For more information, please visit SFUSD PreKindergarten.
