School Summit Planning

Strategic Planning

The hours that go into inclusive, transparent, goal-driven strategic planning toward equity and excellence are evident in school plans and budgets that reflect a school community's vision and guide them to achieve that vision. In this section, you will find resources for writing your School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) and drafting and modifying your budget.

"People in schools should not take shortcuts in their search for clarity and solutions. They need to engage with all kinds of ideas to improve what they are doing, but not adopt external programs that foster dependency."

Michael Fullan

The SPSA strategic planning tool is critical to your school's success.

The SPSA template is a Google doc and each school has a copy. Check the LEAD Weekly Bulletins for more information and links to your school folder.
