Early Childhood Education
Early Childhood Education (ECE) Interns will work with children aged 2-4 at SFUSD Early Childhood Education sites. Upon completing 6 units of CCSF Child Development credit, interns are eligible to apply for part-time and full-time positions in SFUSD working with our youngest children, ages 0-5.
Open to 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students in SFUSD. Interns will take a CCSF course in Child Development.

School Age Internships - K-5 Classroom
Elementary Education Classroom Interns will work with children in grades K-5 at SFUSD elementary schools. Interns will work with children in the classroom - assisting teachers and students in learning and reviewing class material. Summer interns will work with elementary school special education students. Interns will take a CCSF course in Child Development.

Elementary After School and Summer Camp Internships
Are you interested in working in an after school or summer camp program? K-5 After School and Summer Camp Interns will work with children in grades K-5 at SFUSD Elementary schools in after school and summer enrichment programs. Interns will work with children in the classroom and on the playground learning new ways to stretch their imaginations. Interns in class of 2021, 2022, 2023 will also enroll in a Child Development course at CCSF.
Middle School Internships
Middle School Classroom Interns will work with children in grades 6-8 at SFUSD middle schools. Interns will work with children in the classroom - assisting teachers and students in learning and reviewing class material. Summer interns will work with middle school special education students. Interns will take a CCSF course in Child Development.
Open to SFUSD students graduating in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Elementary School Garden Educator
Are you interested in working with elementary school children in their school gardens??
Start your week with at a Home School Garden classroom and focus on a school garden question? Develop solutions and then share your knowledge with children in grades K-5 at SFUSD School Garden and you cycle through school sites and teach children how to take care of their own school garden. Interns will take a CCSF course in Child Development.
Health Educator Internship
Start your week with in a classroom focusing on a health topic for outreach. Create a presentation and share your knowledge with children at a SFUSD Summer Camp that will be your worksite. Topics will include Physical, Emotional and Social Health such as Nutrition, Exercise, Relationships, and Mindfulness. When not sharing your newfound health knowledge with children, you will be helping out with the camp's daily activities. Interns will take a CCSF course in Child Development.
