Hands-On Career Exploration

Hands-On Career Exploration programs are designed for current SFUSD sophomores and juniors. Students who are interested in exploring careers related to automotive technologybuilding and construction trades, or bicycle maintenance can explore careers through a combination of classroom learning and worksite visits.

Planning & Design Career Exploration

Summer Planning & Design Career Exploration programs are designed for current SFUSD sophomores and juniors. Students who are interested in exploring careers related to Construction Management, Design, Hospitality or Engineering can explore careers through a combination of classroom learning and worksite visits.

Students who participate in these programs will:

  • Earn 3 units of college credit through a dual enrollment CCSF course.
  • Work with industry mentors and use what your learn in real world environments.
  • Build your resume and professional network.
  • Earn a paid stipend upon completion of the program.

The Summer 2026 Interest Form is open now through February 27, 2026.
