After School Program
The Balboa After School Program, a program of the Community Youth Center of SF (CYC), offers a variety of academic support, tutoring, enrichment, and recreation activities in a safe learning environment that nurtures student creativity and interests. Different tracks of project based learning classes such as Film and Music Production, 3D Printing, Minecraft, Photography, DIY Art Studio, etc. are offered virtually through Zoom on Mondays thru Fridays after school for FREE.
Below are the links to the registration forms. Once a student is registered, they will receive an enrollment link to select their enrichment and/or tutoring activities.

(Students who registered and attended the Bal Project Summer 2020 program do NOT need to re-register. Please simply email the Bal ASP staff with the student's full name to receive a Class Enrollment Link for Fall programs.)

Updates for Winter 2020/Early 2021!
Paid Tutoring Internship for Juniors + Seniors. The second is a College to Career Panel event with guest speakers!
1. Peer Leader's Program: A 9-week paid internship for students to tutor other students. Applicants must meet academic requirements to apply.
2. College to Career Panel: On 1/29, Bal ASP will host a Career Panel featuring 5-guest panelists working in the Arts, STEAM, and Medical Field. There will be an open Q&A at the end for students with follow-up questions.

Project Summer 2020
Project Summer was a free 6-week enrichment based program where youth were challenged to learn a craft, improve their academic skills, and have fun! This year, we introduced a wide variety of classes such as; Fitness, Paint, Ukulele, Avatar Analysis, Photography, College Prep, and Minecraft.
Unlike in previous years, our program took place completely online - that's CRAZY! Along with our staff, the students spent countless hours every week creating amazing work.
