After School Program

After School Program

The mission of the Balboa After School Program is to a foundation to empower our youth, academically and socially so they continue to grow beyond our program and positively impact our world.

We have a number of activities and classes that run during our after school hours such as 3D printing, screen printing, film/photography, craft academy, ping pong and woodshop. We provide academic support, college and life readiness, and much more. We also host the FRESH Farmer's market where Balboa students can come and get free groceries for their families every Thursday. There is plenty of opportunity for students to do some volunteer work and earn community service hours.

Before your student can be a part of the program, you must submit a registration form. You can download a registration form here in English, Spanish or Chinese, or pick one up in person in the After School Room (Room 28).
