Thurgood Marshall Academic HS Gym and Auditorium

San Francisco Unified School District is planning improvements to the gymnasium and auditorium buildings at Thurgood Marshall Academic High School.

The project will modernize these important campus facilities to provide students, staff, and the school community with safer, more functional, and updated learning and activity spaces.

Planned improvements include:

• New flooring, ceilings, and interior finishes
• Upgraded gym equipment and telescoping bleachers
• Renovated restrooms and locker rooms
• Modernized heating, ventilation, electrical, lighting, data, and audiovisual systems
• Upgraded fire protection and life-safety systems
• Improvements to the auditorium stage equipment
• New doors, windows, and storefront systems
• Roof repairs and replacements
• New cabinetry, storage, and instrument cabinets
• Interior and exterior painting
