Dr. Nicole Priestly, Ph.D.

Dr. Priestly has nearly thirty years of experience in PreK-12 public education. She has worked at many levels including teacher, site administrator and central office leader. Dr. Priestly has focused on student achievement throughout her career by raising student achievement across all student groups as a teacher and site leader as well as supporting student performance and site level operations as an Assistant Superintendent of Schools.

Over her career, Dr. Priestly has focused on curriculum and instruction and studied this work at the University of Florida where she received her specialist degree in reading and a doctorate in Reading Education from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has successfully led work in the field in several large, urban school districts such as Charlotte Mecklenburg, Wake County, Montgomery County and Baltimore County Schools. She continues to be dedicated to bringing high quality and equitable educational experiences to all students.
