Banking Options for Teens

Patelco Credit Union: You can apply online for an account with Patelco Credit Union.  You will need identification, a $10 deposit, and proof of address such as a utility bill or a social security number.   Click on "Youth Checking" to apply.  

If you cannot complete the online application, you can always complete an application at any branch.   Patelco can be located at:

• Downtown Branch - 124 2nd Street

• Daly City Branch - 65 Southgate Avenue

Self-Help Credit Union has an online application that you can complete and bring into a branch office.  You will need the following:

• Government issued identification
• Proof of Address
