3.9.8 Tobacco and E-Cigarette-Free campus

The San Francisco Unified School District requires its campuses to be tobacco and electronic vaping products-free. SFUSD prohibits the use of tobacco and electronic vaping products, at any time, in district-owned or leased buildings, on district property and in district vehicles.

Students who smoke or vape can participate in an on-site Brief Intervention Session with the school nurse, social worker or counselor, and/or be referred to a community-based provider for more intensive intervention services.
