The AP exams will take place during the 2022-23 school year. The format of the exams are either in paper and pencil or digital (in person).  The exams will take place May 1-19, 2023. SFUSD families, please communicate with your school for registration information.

Home school, private school and non-SFUSD students and families:

Lowell is open for registration for ordering 2023 AP exams with the College Board mandatory $40 late fee. With the late fee, the cost is $237 per exam for non-SFUSD students in grades 10-12 ($97 for the exam + $100 fee set by SFUSD for non-attenders + $40 late fee). We reserve the right to reject and close non-attender requests at any time.

1. If you would like your student to take a 2023 AP exam(s) at Lowell, please fill out this Google form first. Then go onto the next item:

2. Register and pay for 2023 AP exams (opens on Mon 11/28/2022):

Students and guardians should complete this registration/enrollment together. This is a two-step process and both steps MUST be completed to access the AP Classroom resources and/or order AP Exams. The entire process will take approximately 10 minutes. (1) Register and pay on Total Registration (TR) at https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/052970 . You must register as a "non-attender" and select "independent study" for each exam you wish to take at Lowell. The TR system will automatically waitlist you. After we manually approve your waitlist request, you can proceed to complete the payment process. (2) Finally, register on AP Classroom using the join code provided at the end of the TR registration/payment process, so we can order your exam.

Washington High School has limited spaces for late registration at the same cost.
