Devin Krugman Link to this section
Devin Krugman serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction with San Francisco Unified School District. In this role she works across the district's curriculum, professional learning, educator pipeline and local, state and federal programs supporting the development of educator practice and implementation of high quality instructional materials in service of SFUSD’s student learning outcomes.
Prior to this role she served as Head of School for East Bay Innovation Academy in Oakland, CA, and worked in the New York City Department of Education as a high school teacher, instructional coach and central office leader focused on academic quality and Common Core rollout. Across all these roles Devin has centered her passion for equity-centered deeper learning - focusing on supporting classrooms and schools to be places where educators believe in the brilliance of children and youth and provide rigorous learning environments that center student ownership.
Devin has a BA in Political Science from the University of Maryland, an MS in Special Education from Long Island University, and a Master of Educational Leadership and Administration from Columbia University.
