Sr. Executive Director of Labor Relations

Apolinar “Paul” Quesada currently serves as the district’s Senior Executive Director for Labor Relations. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Crisis Response and Emergency Preparedness for SFUSD. Additionally, Quesada has also served as the principal at James Lick Middle School and was an Assistant Principal at Marina Middle School. 

Quesada has over 23 years of experience in education and began his career as a paraeducator and attendance clerk in the metro Phoenix area. He decided to pursue his teaching credential and became a classroom teacher, also in Arizona. Quesada earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). He also holds a post baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
